Guide 02
Installation
Install, update, and verify the Cadence Booking WordPress plugin.
Cadence Booking is delivered as a ZIP package that you install from the WordPress administration area. Do not unzip the package before uploading it.
Download the plugin
Sign in to your Cadence Booking customer portal and open Downloads. Download the latest released version of Cadence Booking to your computer. The filename includes the version number so you can identify the package later.
Packages are available only while the associated license is entitled to downloads. Store your original ZIP in a secure location rather than in a public website directory.
Install it in WordPress
- In WordPress, go to Plugins → Add New Plugin.
- Select Upload Plugin, then choose the Cadence Booking ZIP file.
- Select Install Now and wait for WordPress to finish.
- Select Activate Plugin.
After activation, Cadence Booking appears in the WordPress administration menu. Continue with license activation, then set the business time zone before creating services.
Confirm the installation
Open Cadence Booking → Settings and confirm that the page loads without a WordPress error. Then open Plugins and verify that Cadence Booking is active and shows the expected version.
If installation fails, check that you uploaded the original ZIP, that your administrator can install plugins, and that the server meets the minimum PHP and WordPress versions listed for the release. Your host can also confirm whether the upload-size limit blocked the package.
Keep Cadence Booking up to date
An active license lets WordPress receive Cadence Booking releases through its normal Updates screen. Back up the site before an update, apply the update, and test the booking page afterward. Never replace an installed version with an older release unless Cadence Booking support specifically asks you to do so.
