This policy explains how MD79 Inc. handles personal information when you visit the Cadence Booking website, join the email list, buy Cadence Booking, manage a license, or contact support. MD79 Inc. operates Cadence Booking from Quebec, Canada.
1. Information we collect
Account and purchase information
We store account information such as your name, email address, password hash, preferred language, administrator status, and account timestamps. For purchases we store Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, plan, billing status, renewal or expiry dates, invoice references, and related transaction metadata. Stripe processes your complete card details; Cadence Booking does not store the complete card number or security code.
License and download information
We store the license record, a one-way hash and short display prefix of the license key, its status and validity period, activation limit, subscription relationship, and issuance timestamps. Download audit records may include the release downloaded, time, and a protected hash derived from the requesting IP address. We do not store the complete license key after issuance.
Activation telemetry
When Cadence Booking is activated or validates its license, we receive the normalized site address and a site hash, the classified environment (production, staging, or local), Cadence Booking plugin version, WordPress version, PHP version, first-seen time, latest check-in time, and any deactivation time. This is the limited operational telemetry needed to enforce the license, diagnose compatibility, and deliver updates. We do not use it to analyze your visitors or appointment activity.
Email captures and communications
If you join the product email list, we store the submitted email address, language, consent and submission timestamps, and basic anti-abuse information. If you contact us, we store the message and the information you choose to provide. Do not send payment-card data, passwords, sensitive appointment details, or a complete license key by email.
2. How we use information
We use this information to:
- create and secure accounts, process purchases, and provide invoices;
- issue, validate, move, renew, disable, and support licenses;
- provide downloads, updates, service messages, and requested support;
- send product news when you have asked for it and honour unsubscribe requests;
- prevent fraud and abuse, keep audit records, comply with law, and protect our rights.
3. Payments and service providers
Stripe processes Cadence Booking subscription payments for MD79 Inc. and receives the information needed for payment, tax, fraud prevention, invoicing, and billing support under its own privacy terms. We may also use carefully selected hosting, storage, email-delivery, error-monitoring, and support providers that process only the information needed to perform their services. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
4. Cookies
Cadence Booking may use strictly necessary cookies for sessions, sign-in, security, preferences, checkout continuity, and customer-portal functions. We use no analytics cookies in v1 and do not place advertising cookies. If that practice changes, we will update this policy and provide any consent controls required by law before the new cookies are used.
5. Retention and safeguards
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, including account service, license history, tax and accounting obligations, dispute evidence, fraud prevention, and legal claims. Retention periods differ by record and legal requirement. We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
6. Your choices and rights
You may unsubscribe from marketing email at any time. Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access or correct personal information, withdraw consent where processing depends on consent, or request deletion of information that we no longer need to retain. We may need to verify your identity and may retain records where law or a legitimate legal obligation requires it.
7. International processing and changes
Our providers may process information outside Quebec or Canada, where it is subject to the laws of that location. We assess providers and use appropriate contractual and security measures. We may update this policy as Cadence Booking, our providers, or legal requirements change; the effective date identifies the current version.
8. Contact us
