These terms form an agreement between you and MD79 Inc., a Quebec, Canada corporation. MD79 Inc. is the seller of record for Cadence Booking, including its subscriptions, licenses, downloads, and related support.
1. Using Cadence Booking
Cadence Booking is a paid WordPress plugin for managing appointment services, availability, booking calendars, payments, languages, and notifications. You must be able to enter a binding agreement and provide accurate account and billing information. You are responsible for your WordPress site, its content, its security, and the services you offer through it.
2. Subscription and payment
Your chosen monthly or annual subscription renews automatically until cancelled. Prices are displayed in United States dollars unless stated otherwise, and applicable taxes may be added. MD79 Inc. receives the payment as seller of record; Stripe processes the card transaction and may provide invoices, tax calculation, payment retries, and billing-portal services. We do not receive your complete payment-card number.
You may cancel through the Cadence Booking customer portal. Unless a refund applies, cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid billing period and does not retroactively reverse an earned charge.
3. Fourteen-day refund policy
You may request a refund within 14 days of a Cadence Booking charge by emailing [email protected] from the address on the account. Approved refunds are returned through Stripe to the original payment method. A refund ends the corresponding paid entitlement and disables its license. This policy does not limit any non-waivable consumer right that applies to you.
4. License scope
A Professional subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Cadence Booking on one production website. Recognized staging, development, localhost, and .test sites do not consume the production activation. You may move the production license by deactivating the old site in your customer portal before activating the replacement.
Do not publish, sell, share, reverse engineer for an unlawful purpose, or use a license key to bypass activation limits. Keep your account and license key confidential and notify us promptly if either may be compromised.
5. Expiry, updates, and your data
An active entitlement provides covered plugin features, downloads, updates, and support. When a license expires or is disabled, downloads and updates stop and customer-facing booking functionality locks. Cadence Booking does not delete the services, appointments, schedules, settings, or other information stored in your WordPress database because a license expires. Renewing an eligible license restores access.
You are responsible for maintaining current backups and a supported WordPress hosting environment before installing or updating the plugin.
6. Stripe in your own booking flow
If you connect your own Stripe account to collect appointment payments, you—not MD79 Inc.—are the seller of the services booked on your website. You are responsible for your prices, taxes, cancellation and refund terms, customer disclosures, and compliance obligations. Your connected Stripe activity is separate from the Stripe payment used for your Cadence Booking subscription.
7. Availability and support
We work to keep Cadence Booking and its licensing service reliable, but uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed. Maintenance, hosting incidents, WordPress changes, third-party services, and events outside our reasonable control may affect availability. Support is available at [email protected]; response times are not guaranteed unless we agree otherwise in writing.
8. Warranties and liability
To the extent permitted by law, Cadence Booking is provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties beyond those that cannot be excluded. MD79 Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data. To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability relating to Cadence Booking is limited to the amount you paid MD79 Inc. for Cadence Booking during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
9. Changes and contact
We may update these terms to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. We will publish the revised date and provide reasonable notice when a change materially affects an active subscription. Quebec law and the applicable laws of Canada govern these terms, without limiting mandatory protections available where you live.
